My Paranormal

I'm a firm believer that there is more in this world than most are willing to believe. Maybe because if they acknowledge there is more than the selfishness of man then they would realize they're not the greatest in the 'food chain' that was life. I acknowledge that the paranormal exist, I acknowledge that there is such a things as ghosts, demons, imps, possessions, and so forth.
I'm a believer that there are homes that are normal, airy, and plain normal but I know that there are places that are just saturated with not evil (well maybe) but are a beacon for the paranormal be them harmless or pure nastiness.
Now here's my tale. For a long while now I've had these bouts of shivers that run along my body that just tell me I'm not alone or somethings just there. I sometimes get these anxious feelings that leave me feeling odd and I've ignored them for such a long time. I look over my shoulders and I can glance under my bed and just picture something beneath it just staring at me with a snarl. I just put it as an 'overactive imagination' which I admit I have.
http://www.trueghosttales.com/
Like a jackass I searched for paranormal site that could tell me stories. I found a nice one that had a slew of stories that weren't just about ghosts but had some pictures and even a couple that dealt with gnomes, imps, and so forth. Personally I can't help but not believe that 'hey, why not?'.
While I'm reading the archives on the right hand side there's this one link my eyes keep dragging to. I've pushed it completely out my minds but I can recall it had the word Satan in the title.
Here's the gist: the author is a genuine, bonofied, A-Hole. Here's a guy who plays with a quija board and gets in contact with his friend who had been killed (shot i think) and is now in hell. Apparently in hell there's the torture but also beer (now really?). Wait, it gets better. This A-Hole goes on and on and on, the story is interesting enough yet I knew that I shouldn't be reading this, I should just exit out of it but I couldn't help it.
I continue reading and then IT happened. This Guy writes the names of these demons that were in hell. Now lets one thing be clear, while I believe that yea there are demons roaming the earth I also know that you should never call them out. You shouldn't think their name or even speak them aloud because it's quite possible that they'll latch onto you and wont let go. You're now their new target for their 'fun'.
At this time I swear and finally exit out of the application, shut off my laptop, and I feel such a weight of anxiety that I can't sleep. I am tired but I know something was going to happen or something was to happen.
I should have known better but it was like some sort of me had this pull to click on that link and read. *sigh* I wander outside and I start walking in a circle and cast a circle of protection. I call to the four points and use the elements to protect me as I protect myself with a mirror that reflects all negativity back to the caster times three.
That night I lay in bed eyes flickering around too scared to turn off the light and I have my dog curled on the bed with me. He may be a wimp but I feel safer with him there. I speak aloud that this is my house and for IT to leave. I could swear I see something dark around the base of my fan and I speak firmly to it.
That night I sleep with my head facing the wall and though its hot (damn the summer heat) I wrap myself in my sheets to protect my feet and the rest of me from being grabbed. I have a 'thing' that my feet have to be covered while I'm in bed. That night I slip into a restless sleep and the next night as well.
I purchased a religious candle and made sure it was for protection and repeated my mantra. As it stands I believe that whatever it was that had my guard up is gone I'm sure not to look for any links that have the word Satan in it. I'm also not going to pursue my desperate want to get into the paranormal hunting I'm dying to get into.
I may want to, even speak of doing so, but the fear that I'll attract something or something will follow me is a fear I will listen to.

The BIG Debt - USA

The last several years have been tough years for Americans (and beyond). We've seen business's close, banks falling, prices of gas fluctuating, Homes falling into Foreclosure, and last but not least we see a lot of finger pointing.
As I see it no one's willing to take responsibility for their own mistakes, we're all ready to point fingers for our own mishandling of our lives. "Blame it on Bush" - "Blame it on Obama" - "It's the Government fault" - "Its their fault!"
Excuse me... but has anyone looked in the mirror during these tough economic times?
No?
Yes?
*sigh*
I guess its hard for us people to admit mistakes but I've admitted mine so how about you? I admit that my debt is my fault, the credit cards that were handed to me were a privilege that I abused with the thought "I'll pay it back easily." :) yea right! I'm in collection and paid off several debts which I'm quite proud of.
So what about everyone else? Can those who took on too much without sitting down and crunching numbers do the same?
I believe this whole Epidemic started before our time, lets be honest. I would say 90% of this country hasn't been taught to handle their finances properly. We've been raised with rose tinted glasses that allow us to believe we can all afford the 'luxuries' of life such as homes with too much space, adult toys we have to insure such as yachts and luxury cars... now don't get me wrong, there are those out there who can afford such things as if its piddly crap and congrats.
Yet there are those who see all these goodies and believe they deserve such things when they're completely wrong. We've all grown thinking that we don't have to work hard to get what others worked a lifetime to achieve. We work for our needs (food/shelter) and earn our needs over time, it's called Patience something this society lacks with the NOW mentality.
It's the laziness installed in us from parents who worked for it and didn't want their children to struggle the way they did - an honest thought but that's why you see the reality TV shows of teens whining that they didn't get their car on their 16th birthday or allowances of thousands of dollars monthly -annoying little brats aren't they? When they're suddenly cut off they freak out without understanding that the economy tanked the stock market or business went bankrupt.
Even the rich need to be taught the value of a penny. 100 of those make up a dollar, remember that.
For those parents who sat down and taught their child how to manage their finances I applaud you, even if the kids didn't listen (like me) they're grateful in the end.
Here's a solution.... make personal finance a mandatory class in school. Start young, teach the children how to handle their change then balance check books, how to read the fine print on a credit card applications, the good and bad of school loans, and that yes, if you want the luxuries in life you have to first get a life.
Stay in school and get your education, at the very least a high school diploma because lets face it, the only way you'll get some nifty stuff is if you win the lottery (temporary fix), become some drug dealer (can we say prison and a roomy named Bubba who like your smile *hint*?), or invent something that makes you millions... the odds of that are slim but doable.
Being a drop out is simply laziness and your headed down a long slope of misery as you sit on government assistant while watching TV of these stuff you just have to have but your broke even with two crappy jobs smoking the pipe to handle your depression.
While we can point fingers, I like to blame the Mortgage companies to be honest, we have to point fingers at ourselves.
I believe this whole downward spiral might have started far back when but to me it seemed that many Americans believed that renting was just too difficult and decided to get the 'dream' of a home with a picket fence. Nothing wrong with purchasing your own home... but did you do it with a down payment? Did you sit down and crunch numbers and realize that a mortgage payment is compounded with utility bills, taxes, and so forth?
When you decided on a mortgage did you choose one with a variable rate? When you signed the paperwork for a variable rate mortgage did you take in account your payment of one amount could possibly rise to a higher amount on top of everything?
From the get go when I heard that America was having a 'Housing Boom' I went "Oh shit." I knew that something was going to happen when people searched for homes at $400,000.00 when now it's worth $250,000.00 that the bubble would burst and the repercussion of blind less wants would have nationwide repercussion.
It's one of those things that I regret to be right about.
Several months into having something new you tend to forget the mounting debt, the 30 plus years of so called 'good debt' when your bad debt outweighs all other things.
So yes, I blame the mortgage companies who shelled out loans to poor souls with no down payment or with without going over the what ifs AND I blame the people who couldn't wait just a little longer, save a bit more money, go over their finances with a fine tooth comb, pay down their credit card debt and even their student loan debt.
It's a nasty world out there right now and just about every one's struggling yet not. There are those who kept their heads up above the water and tread through life living within their means and I applaud those people and aim to behave such a way. It's a difficult road ahead of us, ahead for myself, one that's pricey and seemingly never ending but there's an end in sight.
Hopefully.

Article: Homosexuality compared to Incest and Polygamy - are you serious?

The article here was just read not moments ago.
It is apply titled: Huckabee likens gay marriage to incest, polygamy.
Who is this Huckabee bloke? Well first lets point out he's a Republican (need I say more?) and secondly he's a snoddy white man who can't see farther than his brown nose. If you read the article you'll see he'll possibly run for president in the year 2012 - the same year the Earth will meet it's end.
:) Happy Times!
If he does become president (god no!) I fear the world will end. So there you go.
He has stated that gay couples shouldn't adopt and that children aren't like... puppies? WTF? Are you serious. Gay, straight, asexual, blind, deaf, whatever, if you're willing to love and parent a child who deserves no less then who gives a fuck? There are plenty of heterosexual couples who do such a fucked up job that the gay community isn't as coocoo... at least I think so.
Let's put it out there, the comment about Ideal Lifestyles had me gagging. HIS ideal life style's aren't what I would call ideal. He's a close minded fool and I'll stand by it.
BUT he does make a good point. Why should gay marriage be allowed if those related or with multiple partners can't be given the same right. Who are you to tell me that it's wrong to love another person?
For the religious: "God judges me, not you" or "Fuck you."
Who am I to judge if consenting adults want to be together. Be it first cousins, siblings, or a man truly in love with several woman and those woman willing to share the man. Polygamist, I must say, why should you men have all the fun?
If I could I would have several husbands, one to clean, one to cook, and the other to satisfy me in bed with the other two as back up :)
The 'Traditional Definition of Marriage' is nothing but a scam. Not to be cynical (but I will be) all marriage is, is a piece of paper that allows couples to have benefits. Benefits that couple's who are homosexual or otherwise don't have have access to. Marriage has been so commercialized with glitz and glam with costs that can range from hundreds - thousands - and in the millions... why not invest in this area?
Didn't California get a boost in the economy when it allowed gay marriage for that very brief moment in time?
So us gays/lesbians/bi's have the option of Civil Unions. Alright, fine. Do these Civil Unions give us the same benefits like the marriage between the plague of the straights??
Why should the Heterosexuals be the only one be subjected to misery? A loveless marriage? Wonderings of affairs? Custody battle's? Divorce Attorney fee's?
Besides, marriage was created by us. The human species. If you go by the bible there is this whole Adam and eve thing (Sorry folks I'm all for evolution) do you honestly believe that god set the two down side by side with the animals as witnesses and with an "I do" and had them kiss?
Can you just picture it? Can you just see how so not right this is?
We've paired off all through history but then there was a ceremony behind it, no doubt innocently then the government or something out there decided to prophet over it or hold lordship and set ground rules.
A sad bit of history.
Nothing against marriage, I plan to marry one day - be damned if it's by a priest. I have many family and friends with children - mostly boys.

Who else is the Huckabee bloke?
Well Huckabee is someone who believes that anyone who has HIV should be segregated/isolated... like OMG, you're such a bleeding hypocrite.
So, theory. If you Huckabee became president (I'll shoot myself, really) would you push for this? Would you really condemn a bunch of humans who had the misfortune of contracting the virus to congregate on this tiny island or maybe these folk will have their own city, own government, own president... wow, how can such an educated (pls note the sarcasm) man be so stupid?

I really hope you take very good care of yourself Mr. Huckabee - Karma's a bitch.
