I'm a firm believer that there is more in this world than most are willing to believe. Maybe because if they acknowledge there is more than the selfishness of man then they would realize they're not the greatest in the 'food chain' that was life. I acknowledge that the paranormal exist, I acknowledge that there is such a things as ghosts, demons, imps, possessions, and so forth.
I'm a believer that there are homes that are normal, airy, and plain normal but I know that there are places that are just saturated with not evil (well maybe) but are a beacon for the paranormal be them harmless or pure nastiness.
Now here's my tale. For a long while now I've had these bouts of shivers that run along my body that just tell me I'm not alone or somethings just there. I sometimes get these anxious feelings that leave me feeling odd and I've ignored them for such a long time. I look over my shoulders and I can glance under my bed and just picture something beneath it just staring at me with a snarl. I just put it as an 'overactive imagination' which I admit I have.

Like a jackass I searched for paranormal site that could tell me stories. I found a nice one that had a slew of stories that weren't just about ghosts but had some pictures and even a couple that dealt with gnomes, imps, and so forth. Personally I can't help but not believe that 'hey, why not?'.
While I'm reading the archives on the right hand side there's this one link my eyes keep dragging to. I've pushed it completely out my minds but I can recall it had the word Satan in the title.
Here's the gist: the author is a genuine, bonofied, A-Hole. Here's a guy who plays with a quija board and gets in contact with his friend who had been killed (shot i think) and is now in hell. Apparently in hell there's the torture but also beer (now really?). Wait, it gets better. This A-Hole goes on and on and on, the story is interesting enough yet I knew that I shouldn't be reading this, I should just exit out of it but I couldn't help it.
I continue reading and then IT happened. This Guy writes the names of these demons that were in hell. Now lets one thing be clear, while I believe that yea there are demons roaming the earth I also know that you should never call them out. You shouldn't think their name or even speak them aloud because it's quite possible that they'll latch onto you and wont let go. You're now their new target for their 'fun'.
At this time I swear and finally exit out of the application, shut off my laptop, and I feel such a weight of anxiety that I can't sleep. I am tired but I know something was going to happen or something was to happen.
I should have known better but it was like some sort of me had this pull to click on that link and read. *sigh* I wander outside and I start walking in a circle and cast a circle of protection. I call to the four points and use the elements to protect me as I protect myself with a mirror that reflects all negativity back to the caster times three.
That night I lay in bed eyes flickering around too scared to turn off the light and I have my dog curled on the bed with me. He may be a wimp but I feel safer with him there. I speak aloud that this is my house and for IT to leave. I could swear I see something dark around the base of my fan and I speak firmly to it.
That night I sleep with my head facing the wall and though its hot (damn the summer heat) I wrap myself in my sheets to protect my feet and the rest of me from being grabbed. I have a 'thing' that my feet have to be covered while I'm in bed. That night I slip into a restless sleep and the next night as well.
I purchased a religious candle and made sure it was for protection and repeated my mantra. As it stands I believe that whatever it was that had my guard up is gone I'm sure not to look for any links that have the word Satan in it. I'm also not going to pursue my desperate want to get into the paranormal hunting I'm dying to get into.
I may want to, even speak of doing so, but the fear that I'll attract something or something will follow me is a fear I will listen to.
